FAQ's:​

Where do we meet?  Zoom OR in person at the Joint Use Library, 1700 College Cres, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.     

(Zoom option: Prior to meeting, please email or text samples of your child's work.)

How long is the meeting? We will meet for a maximum of 55 minutes.

What happens during the meeting?  Holly will review samples from your child's/children's schoolwork. She will address any questions or concerns you have, as well as provide her professional opinion of your child's progress.  Homeschooling tips, local resources, and curriculum suggestions will also be provided.

What happens after the meeting? Holly Schoos will provide a report in the form of a letter on your child's progress. This is the "proof of progress letter" you submit to the school district. As an added bonus, she will also provide a personalized document with insight and recommendations for your child's learning. ​

What is the cost?   $85 per child, payment due prior to or at meeting

What do I bring? Language Arts and Math samples from each child's current school year, as well as payment.

NO portfolio needed. 

 

Curious and Free also provides a simple evaluation (without a consultation) for a flat rate of $60 each.
